PERMANENT MAKEUP SALINE REMOVAL
Pigment removal can be done through various methods including saline solution removal and laser removal. At KelTori we offer the Saline solution removal, however we can refer you to our recommended laser clinic should laser be the better option for you. Then you can return to us once your skin is ready for your new permanent makeup! The Saline solution removal is done in the same way that we do permanent makeup however instead of using pigment we use a saline solution with the aim to "push" the pigment out of the skin. The amount of sessions needed of either option entirely depends on the saturation, shape, colour, type of ink used and the individuals’ natural skin healing time. Due to these variables it is difficult to say how many treatments will be needed to achieve the desired result. Usually it takes 4 to 6 treatments. Treatments cannot be less than 8 weeks apart, as the skin needs time to heal before another session can be done. Due to the increasing demand for permanent make up unfortunately we are finding more and more clients that need removal/correction due to un-/under-qualified therapists. This has increased the demand for removal procedures, including 48 hour emergency removals that are done WITHIN 48 hours after the pigment was implanted. As with any other removal there are risks of hypo-pigmentation. Should the skin seem too fragile the removal procedure will have to stop and be rescheduled.
